Why work for the HSM?

Thank you so much for wanting to volunteer at the Humane Society of Morocco!

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and our animals and the best way you can help animals in need is to volunteer at the Humane Society of Morocco! There are a number of ways and departments to use your time, skills, and talents. Whether you wish to help care for the animals, work in guest services or administration, provide assistance with programs, make special events special, or lend your handy-person skills on projects, your participation is key to helping homeless and abused pets.

As a volunteer, you become part of a team committed to providing loving, quality care to pets in need, while also making the community a better place for our pets and their people. Together, we can make a big difference for the animals!

Please complete the volunteer application to let us know your area of interest and time availability. We’ll get in touch with you to let you know more about orientation and the training process. (Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.)

Moroccan animals are our fellow citizens. We have a duty of care to ensure that they are safe, healthy & happy.

You will be contributing to help create a shift towards a safer, healthier, happier future for the animals of Morocco. We are a family here. But we work hard. Really hard.

The work could be noisy, dirty & physical. But the reward will always outweigh the sacrifice. We are here for them. You are making a difference.
