There are very few animal charities in Morocco and very few that own a shelter. Despite many are doing wonderful things, they are struggling financially and most of them, unfortunately, do not meet the international standards for animal well-being.

Also, there are hundreds of thousands of animals, suffering in silence & solitude, living in remote areas where there is no one to take care of them.

The purpose of the HSM Humane Sanctuaries project is to provide a space where animals who need respite & recovery will be roaming, not locked up in a cage and throughout all Morocco.

Right now, we do not have a sanctuary and we are not planning to build any if it is not going to be substantial and state-of-the-art.
